04/27/2022 Left? or Right?

Today is one of the first days since moving to downtown Fort Worth that I have gone on a walk that was outside of my normal walking route. I noticed I was getting pretty anxious so after I ate dinner I went left instead of right hence where the title of this post came from. For those of you who do not know me that well I love to be outside and one with nature as long as my allergies allow me to! More recently in my life journey I have noticed that source sends messages to me through nature and I will listen to my intuition and either A stay away or B follow the noise. Well today I heard more birds chirping and more cicadas on the left than I did the right. Along the left side of the walk I went down a private driveway which lead to the parking area of a high end apartment complex that had a security guard at the gate and a railroad track and the end of the road so I then turned back around and continued my exploration where I found some cool graffiti that inspired me to come home and start working on my creative endeavor! Although this was not the end of my walk as it was relatively close to my apartment and I still felt quite anxious. Later in the walk when I was walking across the bridge to go to the other side of Fort Worth (where I had initially planned on exploring) I found a set of stairs, me being curious I went down and halfway down I heard what seemed to be a ball bouncing on the ground and the further I went down I found 2 basketball courts where I met a guy named Arun who I will in the future shoot hoops with as he is local to the area and goes down there daily and maybe one day have him as a guest on my podcast That’s life. Further along the walk I saw 3 ducks, 2 black and one white which then ended up leading me to a running & walking / bike trail where I have found a new reading spot by a duck pond! Along the walk I was able to capture a cool picture of the city skyline at night (will not be posting as my current camera quality is not the best iPhone 8) but I will soon be acquiring a camera to better document my journey. The moral of todays post is to step outside of your comfort zone as you never know what good is on the left side! – Les Cooter

Make IT Work.

Introduction

This is the first publication of Make IT Work.

I do not know how I am going to format these, but I do know that the first time I do one of these is going to be on the first day of my 25th year on this planet! Since I picked up Photography way back in 2022, I have taken quite a bit of photos. By quite a bit I mean 536 GB worth of Photos! This Only includes the RAW Cannon Files, I did not keep the JPG’s, and all of the revised photos are still in Lightroom. Although with that being said keep an eye out for upcoming posts! Posts will include the offloading of my IT knowledge, LAB Simulations, and random IT Related Projects.

Making room for the new

As my year of sobriety is coming up tomorrow, 11.20.2024, I made it a goal to get rid of people, places, and things that no longer served me or my goals. Although that is not the main goal of this post the main goal of this post is to showcase my ability to write technical documentation while simultaneously letting the web know about my sports card collection that I am off-boarding, as sports is something that I have not been as passionate about as I once was!

If the card is listed in this app / database, the card is available! If you would like to purchase please reach out to me via

Life Got Crazy

Since the last post or the last time I have showed this place some love it has been a hot minute! I do apologize to anyone who is reading this or anticipated on me continuing the journey and more importantly I owe my self an apology. This is something that I started as a healthy release of an energy I was quite unsure of, I did not know what the energy was how to satisfy or release it so I was attempting multiple avenues of trying to exert it! Sitting in silence with your self without substance can really tug on some strings for a lack of better terms. At the time I am writing this the topic that I just got done journaling on was “The Final Quarter” I failed to really do anything productive as for the first time in a long time with my 9 – 5 I am on call. With it being so long since being on call I have been living the weekend in a “fearful” state as I am afraid to leave the house in the event I get a call. Doing so I have seen some things here and there that I have been putting off or simply not willing to tackle. So it got me thinking maybe I need to do more than my normal journal routine, It is Sunday, I normally have a longer journal entry then I would on any given day unless there is something outside of the normal routine that happens or something is heavy on my mind. So I made a quick list of tasks that I have been putting off and I challenge you to do the same it does not have to be anything major. It could be as simple as taking that book out of your car and placing it on the bookshelf or connecting on a call with the newly found podcaster! Just challenge yourself to make it through the end of the year strong as most of our windows are now closed due to the weather, that does not mean that there is not a new light that shines through it every day!
